The Dual Frequency Sonde is a small battery powered transmitter. It allows users to trace non-metallic sewers, ducts, drains or pipes by producing a signal which can be traced by cable avoidance tools. It can also be used to locate blockages or collapses in underground services. Typically it is attached to a drain rod, however It can also be fitted to other moving objects such as boring tools or cameras.
